Hernán worked at Citigroup from 2021 – 2022 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group, advising clients in the insurance and asset management sectors. Hernán earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from Iowa State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Huan began his career as a Compliance Associate at Deutsche Bank from 2016-2019 before moving to Citigroup in 2019, where he joined the Investment Banking Coverage Compliance team. Most recently from 2022-2024, he returned to Deutsche Bank as Vice President on the Business Line Compliance team advising the Investment Banking Coverage and Equity Capital Markets teams. Huan earned a BA from Connecticut College and his JD from Brooklyn Law School.

Jacob worked at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) from 2020 – 2021 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.

James worked at FFL Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, from 2015 – 2016 as an Associate. He focused on evaluating investments in middle-market companies in the Consumer, Business Services and Industrial sectors. Prior to that, James started his career in 2012 at Peter J. Solomon Company as an Investment Banking Analyst, advising retail companies on M&A and financing transactions. James earned a BS in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude.

Jason worked as a Sophomore and Junior Analyst Intern at Ardea Partners in 2022 and 2023 before joining as a full-time Investment Banking Analyst in 2024. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago, graduating Cum Laude.

Javier worked at RBC Capital Markets from 2021 – 2023 as an Investment Banking Associate in the Utilities, Renewables and Energy Transition team. He started his career in 2019 at NatWest Markets, covering specialist lenders. Javier earned a BS in International Business from Universitat de València and a MS in Finance from IE Business School.

Jeff worked at Evercore from 2020 – 2022 as an Investment Banking Analyst, advising clients in the Financial Services sector. Jeff earned a BS in Finance and a MS in Financial Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.

Jessica worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton LLP as an Associate from 2012 - 2018 with a practice focused on public and private M&A. More recently, she worked as a Vice President at Barclays in the Bank Regulation, Treasury and M&A Legal and Regulatory Implementation teams. Jessica earned a BA from Occidental College and her JD from New York University School of Law.

Joao worked at Barclays from 2021 - 2024 as an Investment Banking Associate in the UK Advisory team, focusing on advising clients on public M&A transactions. Joao earned an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Jonathan worked at Barclays from 2022 - 2024 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the UK Advisory team, focusing on advising clients on public M&A transactions. Jonathan earned an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick.

Jonathan worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2020 – 2022 as an Investment Banking Associate in the Financial Institutions Group. Prior to that, Jonathan served as a Policy Advisor in the U.S. Treasury Department and worked as an Associate at Morgan Stanley focusing on structured derivatives. Jonathan earned BA degrees in Economics and Applied Mathematics from Columbia University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with high honors.

Kevin worked at Perella Weinberg Partners from 2022 – 2024 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Infrastructure Group. Kevin earned a BA in Economics and a Masters in International Business from the University of Florida.

Kevin worked at Cadre from 2017 – 2019 as the company’s Financial Controller and FINOP of the broker dealer. From 2011 – 2017, he worked at Blackstone where he was primarily responsible for the day-to-day activities and financial controls of the broker dealer. He began his career as an auditor at PwC. Kevin earned his BS in Accounting from Yeshiva University, holds FINRA Series 27 and 99 licenses, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Lucie worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2014 – 2016. She was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group focusing on financial technology and asset management. She is a member of Terry College of Business Department of Finance Advisory Board. Lucie earned a BBA in Finance, Economics and International Business from the University of Georgia.

Lucy worked at Onex Partners from 2021-2022, where she focused on evaluating investments across a range of sectors. From 2019-2021, Lucy worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Group. Lucy earned a BA in Honors Business Administration from Ivey Business School at Western University.

Manoj oversees special projects for Ardea Partners. He was previously the Chief Administrative Office and General Counsel of Ardea Partners from 2017-2023. He worked as an associate from 2008 – 2016 at Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton LLP with a broad international and domestic mergers and acquisitions practice as well as representing a major financial company on key commercial transactions. He received his BA from New York University and his JD from New York Law School.

Mark worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2016 – 2017. He was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Natural Resources Group focused on working with clients in Metals & Mining, Power & Utilities and Energy. Mark earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Markus worked as an off-cycle Analyst at Ardea Partners and a Private Equity Intern at Permira before joining Ardea Partners full-time as an Analyst in 2024. Markus earned a MSc in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics.

Martino worked at Barclays from 2010 – 2019 as a Director in the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure team in London focused on advising corporates and infrastructure funds on M&A and financing transactions. Martino earned a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from Bocconi University.

Matt worked at PJT Partners from 2022 to 2024 as an Associate within the controllership function. He previously worked as an auditor at KPMG from 2020 to 2022. Matt holds a BS and MS degrees in Accounting from Penn State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Matt worked at Morgan Stanley from 2012 – 2018, advising clients in the Natural Resources sector on M&A and financing transactions. Matt was based across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific during his tenure. Matt earned a MS in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.

Max worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 2019 – 2020 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Natural Resources Group, where he advised clients in the Energy sector. In 2018, he worked at Wells Fargo Securities in the Corporate Finance Advisory group focused on special situations and transaction structuring. Max earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Prior to joining Ardea Partners, Michael worked at Citigroup from 2014 to 2024 across London and New York, most recently as a Director in the UK Investment Banking team. He has broad M&A, corporate finance and strategic advisory experience, in the US, UK, Ireland and internationally. Michael holds a BA (Hons) from Trinity College, Dublin.

Michelle worked at Global Atlantic Financial Company from 2023-2024 as an Executive Assistant. Michelle studied English and Social Work at Fordham University.

Michael worked at Morgan Stanley from 2017 through 2023 most recently as an Executive Director, where he primarily focused on the Financial Technology and Tech-Enabled Services sectors. Prior to that, he worked in a variety of roles at Bank of America including in Investment Banking within its Financial Institutions Group. Michael earned a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Nadia worked at RBC Capital Markets from 2015-2023, leading Beauty and Wellness coverage within the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team. Prior to that, she worked at BNP Paribas in both M&A and Leveraged Finance roles. Nadia holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business.

Nancy worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an Executive Assistant from 1989 – 2017. Nancy received an Associates Degree in Secretarial Studies from The Wood School in 1989.
